NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I first witnessed the september 11th attack at school on a tv. I think i was in third period by the time that the teachers were talking about it to the classes. They turned on the televisions and tried to find local news stations that would come in on the televeisions. I couldn't believe what had happened. I think the people I felt the worst for was the people on the planes that got highjacked. I don't know what I would have done sitting on that plane knowing that I was going to die and that i was going to die by crashing into a building in the united states that was ment to kill americans that had families and were completely innocent for the gain of another country. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I think my life has changed because I have a new respect for fireighters and parametics. I also have more respect for the people who volunteered. I think that it was a horrible thing and that people shouldn't fight. I think that the thing that made the sept 11 attack so wrong was that they highjacked commercial planes which ment that innocent people that had nothing to do with why they were mad were going to be killed. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that we should remember the fire fighters that risked their lifes for other people. I also think that we should be ready incase something like this happend again without warning. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, my family went out and bought an American flag after September 11th. We hung it outside above our porch. I think my feelings have changed about the flag because before sept. 11th I didn't feel like it was important to show our American pride but now I do so that when people come over from other countries they will see how we are all united, and care about the usa.
