Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My name is Rebekah Weidow, my husband is in the Navy. Every day is a scary day, but every day after that day is even more scary. We had to have our little girl invitro, so she was quite the mirracle. But then when she was 5months old we became pregnant with our son, no hassles and complete surprise. So on September 11 we had our first ultra sound schedualed for 9am that morning. I had woke up early as usual to get my daughter ready, I did not have time to watch tv. Then it came time to leave and my husband was late. I was so upset, i did not want to miss this appointment. So i turned the tv on to pass the time. To this day i wish i could have turned it back off. I knew that at that point my husband would not be coming home for the appointment. Knowing that his ship is a DDG, i was even more conserned. However he did show up right then. We hugged and prayed and he left again. I did not see him again for 3 months. Then he was only home for 2 days and gone for 3 more months. And ever since that day, he is always gone. So much to do, so many to protect. He and all the members of our military are our Rocks right now. I love him for it. But it is hard to know that he may not come home that night. My children have a part time dad, and our marrage is distant, all this for our country. I hope everyone else can see how important their jobs are. Thankyou for this moment.
