NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. It was second hour science and Mr. Christpoherson was in the middle of teaching. Then there was a knock on the door, the princapal asked him to step out side because she had something to tell him. At the time I didnt think anything of it. Until he came back into the room and said that the world trade center has just been hit. I had no idea what that was. So the first thing that came to my mind was the world is getting attcked. I was so scared I went and sat by one of my best friend and heled her hand, then we started crying because we didnt know what was happening. Mr. C turned on the T.V and all I saw was a bulding with a bunch of balck smoke coming out of it. Then to hear that it was hit with one of our own planes beacuase someone hijacked it was just devatating. Another thing that was running through my mind was did I know anyone on those planes or in those buldings. The next thing we saw was another palne going in to tower number 2. Seeing all the dabree falling and people faliing out of bulidings I was speachless. Then to see all people running away and covered in dust and screaming and crying. Why would anyone do this. It made me really sad. Its horable to think that, that many inisant people died because of cruel mean people that did this. Alot of people around me were so sad that day that in some classes we didnt do anything because they were in such shock. I didnt think that anything like this would happen when I was alive that all that stuff only happened in the past. To this day I am really sad that this happened. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has changed, beacuse I think of of the families that might have lost someone in the 9/11 attack.I dont know what I would so without someone in my family, i give alot f respect for those people to have to go through that evreyday. That evreyone in the U.S is untied and together we can get through it. How much pride this country has and how something like that cant make us weak it jsut makes us stronger. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? Although it hurt us all, but this was a day that didnt bring us down it brought us closer together with evreyone in the country. Remeber the people that died. Remeber the heros that did evreything they could to save lives. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? No I did not fly an american falg after this I wish I would but i didnt. The american flag is the strongest symbol that is around in the US today. I loved it when I went down to the twin citties and evrey bulding down there had a flag waving high. It out a huge smile on my face.the flad used to mean and stand for our states and 13 original clonies. ever since September 11th, the meaning of the flag has changed to me it stands for Unity, Freedom, and Pride something that this country has alot of.
