Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My name is Izabel. I am from Princeton, NJ and now live in Texas. On 9/11 I was at my first day of work in a bank in Princeton. We opened the bank lobby at 8am and a customer walks in horrified about 45 minutes later shouting in the lobby that we are under attack. After calming the customer down, we turn on the radio and hear a radio station saying that one of the twin towers were hit by a plane. A few minutes after that we received a fax from corporate saying that we are not to panic and to keep in mind that they might close the bank early. When the PODUS declared a national emergency we received another fax from corporate saying to shut down the bank. My father works for American Airlines. What came to my mind was that he could have been on one of those flights, that he could have died as well. But, his time did not come, it wasn't his turn to go. We went to the service at Yankee Stadium, because my dad had lost some collegues from the American Flights. Colleagues that graduated with him in training school. One good thing did come from that horrifying day though. I gound out a month later that I was pregnant with my first child.
