NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I witnessed the event in my history 4th period history class in Katy, Texas. The princplas brought in a TV for us to watch it on. Like most Americans that weren't there in New York, I saw everything in each of my classes on the news. I thuoght it was all a joke when I first saw it. There are no words to explain what I was feeling at the time I saw what was going on. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has cheanged because of this experience because I know now that I need to be nicer to more people when I just meet them and not to judge. I find myslef happier now because I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think all the people who helped out with that day shoudl be remebered more than anything. The people that were in the buildings and on the ground floor will also be rememebered from their families. I didn't have anyone that was involved with that day and I can't imagine how I would have felt if there were someone that I knew in one of the polanes or had anything to do with that. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes I did, I had an American flag on my car and to this day it is still on there. I have a magnet on the back of my car.
