Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: 9/11 was an extremlely sad event. Thousands of families have lost thier fathers, brothers, mothers and sisters. Hundreds of civil servants lost thier lives in the service of thier city and country. But 9/11 has caused an undesirable political situation in the United States. A terrorist attack on the world trade center is not a new phenomenon, nor is the hijacking of airliners. Yet due to the number of americans lost this event has given Bush and other politicians the ability to flaunt thier power uncontrollably. It has become almost a sin to question the motives or actions of the Bush administration, which can hide behind terrorism. In this country terrorism is not really a problem. Compared to areas like Israel we are not in danger at all. The fact that these terrorists were so successful does not mean that all of a sudden terrorism is a dire threat, we are in just as much danger now as we were 10 years ago when another terrorist tried to bring down the WTC.
