Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My daughter was married on Sept 8 in a beautiful church wedding. Her Dad's birthday was the next day 9-9. On the morning of 9-11, I received a phone call from my best friend. She was at work and asked me to turn on the TV and let her know what was going on. The second plane had already crashed in to the World Trade Center by the time I turned on my television. Absolute horror filled my heart and mind. My daughter called a couple of hours later to ask if she needed to come home from her honeymoon. My first statement to her was to stay where she was because she was further away from the Oconee Power Plant that I was. I expected the plant to be hit next. What a terrible way to mark your wedding anniversary for the rest of your life.
