Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: When I first heard about the attacks, I was in my English class. One of the students told me that the Towers had been attacked. My first reaction was "No way, he must be pulling my leg." After I had heard it more and more, I realized this was no rumor but had really happened. Our school board had forbidden us from going home and watching the broadcast on TV. My English teacher decided to break the rules and brought a TV into the class. One of the students cleared up the picture by making himself into an antenna by holding two ends of wire. The odd thing is: it worked. We caught the news report just in time to see the second plane slam into the side of the Second Trade Center tower. We watched in shock as the towers collapsed. As soon as I got home, I ran to the TV and turned it to the news. The odd thing was, I didn't feel sad. Or angry. Or upset. I really didn't feel much of anything. Just kinda numb. I had been to New York that summer and had been by the Trade Centers. I really didn't think much about them at the time. Now they were gone. It was a complete shock.
