Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was in government clss when we heard about the attacks. We were in the middle of our lesson when a techer came in to tell us that we should probably turn on the news, because two planes had hit the world trade center. We turned on the news, and watched for 45 minutes while they reported on the Teade Center and Pentagon attacks, and also on a fictional car bombing at the state department. The whole time, i think most of us were too taken aback by what was happening to say much. When we were let out of class, i told all of my friends that didn't know what had happened. Most people seemed to have been watching in their classes, though. Someone else told me that one of the towers had just fallen, but i told them that they must be wrong. I didn't think that was very likely. I got to chemistry class, and found out that it was indeed the case. My chemistry teacher, in a move that i thought was stupid, decided that we should continue with class, but keep the TV on without sound. I didn't think there was any way to have class without many of the students getting upset. About 10 minutes into her lesson, the second tower fell, and at that point she realized that there wasn't really any way for her to have class. My classes after that were all basically half watching the news, half doing the regular school work. The day went by pretty quickly. i went home to find that the rest of the day would be occupied by watching television.
