Tell us your story: I was in around 6:45am that day...at around 8.46 I felt a big explosion and ran to the window and saw the north tower on fire and I called my wife at the hospital where she works in the Bronx,NY and told her the tower was on fire and she told me to get out of there...I was on the way out when the pa came on and said it's ok its not our building so go back to your desk, I said no way and took the elevator down and start to walk up Broadway and started to look at the towers and saw people jumping from the towers and I start to cry. Got on my 5 train headed north to the Bronx where I live with my son and wife. People were looking at me like I was on something cause I turned white and then I started to tell the people on the train what happened, they thought i was crazy or something...........
