Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was asleep when the news was blaring that planes had been used as bmombs to destroy the world trade centers in New York and the pentagon in Washington and I was totally unaware of what was going on in the world until my three year old had come into my bedroom and said "Mommy the planes crashed New York and there is a big fire on T.V". At first I just said "Thats nice hunny just watch your cartoons until mommy gets dressed and comes out to the living room"I did not think much of it at first, but I just got up out of bed and got dressed and began cooking breakfeast for us, then as I was standing there in the kitchen I had heard it for the first time and the news had reported that indeed Two planes had crashed into the trade centers in New york and one into the pentagon and I was horrifed at the news I had heard. And as I watched as many americans did I was scared to death of what would happen next so as I sat there with my three year old on my lap holding him close and trying to explain to him why someone would to this to us. I had never felt my heart sank that way before. It will always be a day that we as america should and would NEVER FORGET. To all who lost a loved one that day may they live in all our hearts forever and may we never forget what they gave for us to be hear today. To the heros who risked thier life I am eternally gratefull and honored to be called an AMERICAN and to the men who did this you better know we will never fall as a country or a socitey no matter what you try to do to this wonderful place we call home.
