Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11, 2002. A year has past. Today as I turned on the news. Pain. Anger. Sorrow filled my heart. Those horrible memories of the planes hitting the twin towers will never fade. Tears filled my eyes. I remembered that day, like it was yesterday. I couldn't believe what was happening. My heart skipped a beat. I did not see the first plane hit, however I did see the second hit. I witness that moment. It looked as if it was a scene taken out of horrible movie. I saw people jumping out of the building. It was horrible. It was just wait to die or jump out. I don't know what I would of done. I can't explain the feeling of being so hopeless. I wished I was there. I wanted to go and help. That day is forever engraved in my mind. I will never forget it. The day America really stood for their name. We became United. Never had I seen so many different people fight for the same cause. I can honestly say that I am proud to be an American. Patriatism and pride fill my soul. Those who died that day, will not be forgotten. May their families be blessed. May we remain united.
