Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was like any other day, I got up early, got ready for school, and by 7:25 I left. Throughout the day my friends and me knew something was up, or happened. The teachers were quiet and we saw one or two of them crying. By then we were scared! It's scary seeing people acting weird and crying and you not know what has happened! Kids' parents came and got them, and by the end of the day there were only about 10 kids left. All my friends were with me and on Safety Patrol I asked my 4th grade teacher and she finally told us. "Something bad has happened in our country,? she said. I had tons of questions to ask but they didn't come out. I was so shocked and worried. My friends and me sat down and just stared at the ground. We were silent going upstairs and getting our things. We all waited outside for our parents. One of my friends started bawling, when her dad came to get her. The rest of us were in tears too. When I got home my mom left the TV on I looked over the couch and saw two tall buildings burning, crashing down to the ground. My mom explained everything to me and I just sat in her arms crying for the longest time ever! For the rest of the day I watched the news. That night it was very hard to get to sleep. The next day I didn't go to school, neither did my friends and a bunch of other people. It?s a day I'll never forget.
