Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The morning of September 11th, I was having coffee with a co-worker. When we returned to our Data Center everyone had a shocked and terrified look on his or her faces. Just as I asked, what happen? The second, plane hit all I could scream was Oh! My God. Then you start to pray for the people that are in the building. Their families and friends cross your mind. You thank God that you?re safe. Then the plane hits the Pentagon. Panic kicks in this is to close to home. Phones start to ring, you start dialing. My husband works for the Pentagon Federal Credit Union in Alexandria, VA. I just wanted to hear his voice and know that he?s ok the line is busy. My heart Stopped beating for several minutes. Once I talk to my husband I can hear the panic in his voice just terror. I just wanted to get to my children; I start to think if I am in panic I can only imagine the fear that our children are experiencing. September 11, 2001 changed my life in positive and negative ways. I appreciate life more I don?t take my family or my husband for granted but it is very hard to trust people. I would just like to end my thoughts with hug your children and family, tell them you love them. To the victims of September 11th there families, friends and the rescue & recovery heroes you will forever be in my heart and prayers.
