Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I WOKE UP TO THE PHONE RINGING. MY SISTER SAYS A PLANE CRASHED INTO THE TWIN TOWERS. AT THE TIME I HAD A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE TOWERS. ALL I COULD SEE WAS SMOKE. I REMEMBER THINKING,'HOW COULD A PILOT GET SO FAR OFF COURSE? YOU CAN SEE THOSE TOWERS AT MIDNITE, AND THE SKY IS PERFECTLY CLEAR TODAY.' THEN I LOOK UP AND SEE ANOTHER PLANE FLYING OVER HEAD AND I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ANOTHER PLANE GOING TO CHECK IT OUT. THE SECOND PLANE MAKES A WEIRD, WIDE TURN AND SLAMS INTO THE OTHER TOWER. I HAD NEVER FELT SO SICK AND TERRIFIED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I RAN THROUGH THE HOUSE SCREAMING 'IT'S TERRORISTS!!' I WAS SO SHAKEN UP AND ON EDGE THAT MY MOTHER HAD TO LITERALLY SIT ME DOWN. I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO THINK THAT I PICKED THE WRONG TIME TO BRING A CHILD INTO SUCH AN EVIL WORLD. I EVEN CONTEMPLATED ABORTION. IN THE FOLLOWING DAYS(AND WEEKS AND MONTHS), JUST TO SEE AND HEAR ABOUT ALL THE HELP AND VOLUNTEERS AND SURVIVORS AND ALL THE GOOD NEWS THAT CAME FROM THAT TRAGIC EVENT, I REALIZED WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY I'M A PART OF AND WHY OUR NATION'S CREED IS "IN GOD WE TRUST". MY SON IS 4 MONTHS OLD NOW. WHEN I TELL HIM ABOUT THIS DAY, I WILL TELL HIM ABOUT ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO KEPT OUR STATE AND COUNTRY UNIFIED, STANDING TALL AND PROUD. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
