Tell us your story: i found it odd to see so many planes flying over me landing in the short hour and a half that i was on the football field at my school. upon going inside, i went across the street and got a breakfast taco, this is around 8:30 am... and then my friend told me that someone had flown a plane into the world trade center building. my first thought was that it was some sort of accident, not an act of terrorism. we then turned on the tv in the band hall, and began to watch the events unfold in front of us. as first period started at school, the teachers tried to control us and not allow us to watch tv. but we did anyway. and gradually an odd feeling of fear settled in. i didn't know what was happening only that terrorists had blown up part of american culture. i felt horrible and anxiously awaited the final bell, and sped home, trying to piece together what little information i had gotten about the events...
