They spoke, and the girl came back in crying. My teacher turned on the TV just in time for us to see the second plane crash into the Twin Towers. I lived only 20 miles from the crash site in Shanksville, PA. They dismissed school for the rest of the day and I went home to my mother's. I spent the next week expecting a plane to drop out of the sky and come crashing down on my head.
