At just before 2 pm our time i was getting ready to go to a funeral for my sisters best friend. She had dies from lukemia a few days earlier and the mood was pretty solomb. No television or radio was on and we were all dressing up smart. We went to the funeral and cried for her and knew nothing of the attacks on the WTC's or the pentagon. When we got home at about 5pm out time (12ET) i went onto the innternet and looked at the front page of AOL. i couldnt beleive reading the headline. 'world trade centres collape' i thought what on earth. I turned the TV on and saw a reporter standing in a dusty street in new york and thought this cant be happening. I ran down stairs and told my mother and sister who quickly put the tele on. we all sat and watched the footage and i couldnt beleive it. over and over i watched the trade centres collapse. all that week i watched the news and learned as much as i could about the attacks.

Even though i didnt know of any victims my heart is full of greif for all those families that did and i think about the trade centres every day of my life. Go and get those who commited this atrocity, and bring trust, honesty and security back to the world.
