Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: MY HUSBAND WAS GOING TO GO TO WORK. HE IS SELF-EMPLOYED AND WE WERE BOTH RUNNING A LITTLE BEHIND THAT DAY. THE TODAY SHOW WAS ON, AND WE WERE WALKING TO GO, WHEN THAT MAN MATT CAME ON BEFORE A COMMERCIAL BREAK AND SAID SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED DOWN BY THE TRADE CENTER. THE COMMERCIAL LASTED FOR HOURS OF COURSE, BUT WHEN MATT CAME BACK ON, AND WITH FILM NOT TO FAR BEHIND HIM AND KATIE AND EVERYONE ELSE THERE, IT SAT US DOWN. WE WATCHED. TRANSFIXED LIKE SO MANY OTHERS THAT DAY, WHEN THE NEXT PIECE OF FILM HISTORY TOOK PLACE AND THE SECOND TOWER WAS HIT. EVERYONE KNEW IT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT. THEN NO ONE COULD FIGURE OUT WHY OR HOW THIS HAD HAPPENED AND THEN ANOTHER PLANE CRASHED AND YET STILL ANOTHER. THEN THE TOWERS STARTED COMING DOWN AND THE PENTAGON WAS IN FLAMES AND THE FIELDS OF SOMEONE'S DREAMS IN PENNSYLVANIA WAS NOTHING MORE THEN A FIERY BALL AND DUST AND METAL. AND THEN THE CIVILIANS UNDERSTOOD THE PRICE THAT WE DO TRULY DO PAY FOR OUR FREEDOMS. THAT PRICE IS JEALOUSY AND TERROR FROM EVERYWHERE AND STILL NOWHERE. WE COULD LOCK THIS PLACE UP. AMERICA I MEAN. AND DIG A MOTE AROUND IT. POST SOMEONE AT EVERY 3 FEET TO PROTECT OUR BORDERS, FROM INTRUSIONS OF THE NOT SO NOBLE KIND. BUT THEN WE WOULD NO LONGER BE THE LAND OF THE FREE. Because THERE IS NO FREEDOM IF WE ARE CHAINED IN OUR OWN BACKYARDS. OR THE HOME OF THE BRAVE, BECAUSE THERE IS NO BRAVERY IN HIDING. THEY BROUGHT US TO OUR KNEES AND WE PRAYED. THEY BROUGHT, DEATH AND WE GAVE BACK LIFE. THEY BROUGHT INSANITY AND WE GAVE BACK ORDER. THEY BROUGHT PAIN. AND WE GAVE BACK KISSES TO MAKE IT BETTER. THEY GAVE US HATE AND WE GAVE BACK LOVE AND COMPASSION. THEY GAVE NOTHING AND WE GAVE ALL. WE ARE ONE RACE. ONE RELIGION. ONE FAMILY. ONE SOUL. ONE NATION. UNDER GOD. AND WE WILL WIN BY OUR RECOVERY.
