Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: 9-9-02 September 11, 2001 was my first day back to school. I was sitting in the guidence office and someone got a phone call. Saying the trade center got hit by a plane. I thought is was just an accident, but later to find out it was an act of war. Though out the day we watch this sad sad event on tv. I wanted to cry, I couldn't believe it happen to us, the United States of America. When I got home my dad was sitting in the room "with tears in his eye" watching everything on TV. All the channels stop broadcast to show it. I cried, I felt so bad for the lost people. I believed that they would find a lot of bodies in the wreckage. Then finally a body was find. Everyone got quiet, and tears began to fall when they saw the body come out with the country's flag over it. I wish our country would be this close everyday. I wanted to do something, so I made a sign say "Honk for your country". I put it out by the road, and I would sit out there for an hour to see the people as they went by and beeped their horn. I love this country a lot more then I would ever thought I would. Ever since 9-11-01 I would cry when I see something on TV about the people who died. To think those were average people like you and me. They probbley had a family waiting at home for them. MAY GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY & THOSE WHO LOST LOVE ONES Christian E.
