Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I woke up and turn on the Today show. I saw the plane flying into the tower. I actually thought it was a preview of a new diaster movie. Unfortunately, I finally realized that it was real. I was horrified. I went to work and the news kept coming in. The second plane, the plane in Pennsylvania, the Pentagon. It just went on and on. I think I was in shock for the first day. I have a cousin that lives in the city, so we tried to reach him. I finally talked with my aunt who said he was fine. I am from a family of 10, so were talked and emailed all week. I spent quite of bit of time that first week just crying. I was so sad for the firefighters and policeman. We are avid baseball fans, so the first games when they played America the Beautiful, I teared up again. When the Mariners cinched the playoffs, it was incredibly respectful. The walked around the field with a flag. I have always been a very patrotic American, but I think my patrotism increased.
