My name is Rosemary Janssen and on September 11, 2001 I was at work when the world turned ugly. I was at my desk when someone came out and said a plane just crashed into the World Trade Center and we all just watched thinking it was just a bad accident. Then in a matter of minutes all of us which is about 20 or so employees of Loma Systems, Inc. watched as the next plane crashed into the other tower. I remember standing there in shock and then my next thought was we are under attack but by who. and what about my daughter Jessica and my granddaughter Angel, Are they safe? can I get to them? They live near Ohare Airport. Where is my boyfriend John Michelberger, oh my god he works downtown in Chicago, is he alive will I ever see him? I have 7 brothers and sisters and we all fight will I ever be able to tell them I am sorry and that I love them? My Mom will I ever tell her how much I love her. That day Bin Laden and his group took away my control, my safety and my security. But today I am strong as I believe all Americans are and hold my head up high and if given the opportunity, I would KILL!! Bin Laden myself. I would do this because of what he did to me and my fellow countrymen and women. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to get this off my mind. Today is a day I hope no one will forget and I also hope we all stay strong and believe together as one union we can defeat anyone or anything!
