Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My name is Becky Crossfield and on Sept. 11, 2001 I was getting my daughter ready for school. I was watching my local news to see about the weather and local happenings before I drove my daughter to school. The Fox network that I was watching that morning broke in with the plane crash into the first tower and I thought, "What is going on, what a horrible accident!" That's what I thought it was at first. I sat there thinking about those poor people and what were they going to do, would they get out ok? Minutes later I saw the second plane bank into the other tower I was thinking "How can this be happening? Tears flowing from my eyes I knew this was not an accident but a horrible deed being done against the people of America, I knew it was a terrorist attack! My daughters couldn't understand why I was crying and I did my best to explain what was going on but not to frighten them and we said a prayer that God would be there and help all those people. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that the towers would collapse nor that so many would die that day, it was a beautiful day here in Missouri as well, and to have this happen on such a beautiful day was like a dream. My heart goes out to all the victims families and they will always be in my prayers. May God watch over us and hold us in his hands and keep us, this wonderful nation, out of harms way . May we, his children , learn to love one another no matter what race, religion, etc. we may be. We are ALL his children!
