911DA Story: Story
My husband is in the army and we were stationed over sea's.
We had gone shopping with our two children and had accidently left our tv on. When we walked in the first tower was on fire and we saw the second plane hit tower two. At first we thought it was a joke but after watching for a few seconds new it wasn't. We were all just stunned. We were so shocked that someone would do this to our country. We sat and just stared at the tv. I started to cry because of all the innocent people lost. My husband just kept staring at the tv. He later told me he was so stunned he just didn't know what to do. We called our family to make sure they were okay. After that we pretty much just watched tv and prayed for all those lost or missing.
