Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I had just graduated high school in July of 2001; I attended high school in Germany as my dad was in the Army, so terrorist attacks were always a very real possibility. We moved to the states in early September of 2001. The 11th is the day we got our furniture. I was still pretty jet lagged so that morning I was still asleep when the first plane hit. My grandmother in FL called and told my dad what happened, and he came upstairs to wake me up. We had just a small 13 inch TV as our other TVs were still to come. We had the news on and were watching the tower with smoke plumes coming out of the top, when the second plane hit. My mom became hysterical. By then it became apparent this was a deliberate attack and not an accident. The movers arrived, so we told them what was happening and let them come watch with us. I got on my laptop and began writing to all my frineds back in Germany. When we heard about the plane that hit the Pentagon my mom became shaken once again; my dad used to work at the Pentagon. I don't remember much else from that day. I was really confused and that night all I could hear were the military planes flying overhead.
