911DA Story: Story
My husband called to tell me that a plane had crashed into the World
Trade Center, but that he thought it was an accident. He works for Public
Radio, so he has all the updated information. He called back a little later
to let me know that it was not an accident, but a terrorist group.
What touched me the most was the following day when one of my co-worker's came
in crying. She is Phillipino...does not look Arabic, Pakastani, etc., but the fact
that she was not WHITE was reason enough for a group of fellow workers to not get on
the elevator with her. They all got off, no one would ride with her. How sad for
us as Americans (she also was born in America and is an American citizen); how sad
for the World; how sad for the human race...
