The morning of September 11 begine like any other day. I was fighting through traffic on my way to work. Suddenly the morning talk show that I always listen to going to work was interrupted by a special news announcment. "An airplane had crashed into one of the world trade center buildings". As I heard this I figured it was an accident and that this was no big deal. The news announcement went on, "we do not know if this is an accident or if it is an terrorist act". I slowly pulled into my work my morning talk show was interrupted again. "A second plane has hit the other world trade center building". This is when I knew something was terribly wrong today. I walked into work and there was no one in my department. I looked around and saw everyone watching CNN in the conference room. The footage of the plane crashing into the first world trade center building left me speachless. Everything that happen that day seem so surreal. Looking back to that day I realize how vulnerable we are. A act like this could happen to us anytime and that we should appreciate each day and live our life to the fullest.
