Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11 was my 4th day on vacation in Branson, until that day we never turned on the tv or radio. That morning we were going to Silver Dollar City, we had about an hour until they opened so we went to a little shop. When we went in a woman was saying a plane had hit the world trade center, at that moment I never thought it was an act of terrorism. Before we left she ahd said another plane hit, at that moment I knew something was really wrong. When we got in the van we turned the radio on and heard the whole story. At that moment even though we were hundreds of miles away from it, I no longer felt safe. The rest of the vacation we listened to the news on the radio and watched msnbc in the hotel room. Later when I was driving from Lamonte, MO to Kansas City, MO to go to work I passed Whiteman Air Force Base, there were a couple of times I saw the bombers leave. Every time I saw one I was terrified. Now even though a year has passed everytime I hear a song about that day or see footage I can help but get teary eyed. I don't understand how anyone can be so evil to do that, to so many innocent people.
