Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My son was finally in Day care and my best friend was working at Newark Airport. I turned on the news to see what was going on in the world. He first tower was already hit and as I watched in amazement I saw te plan hit the second tower. My heart litterally stopped. Tears burned my cheeks and my thought was let me see where my loved ones were. The phones were down and every few minutes could a call go through. After talking to myfriend and finding out he was okay I proceded to call my family. My heart stopped when my godmother informedme tha my cousin had a eeting at tower two tht morning. We tried her office and her cell and there was no answer. Iwent into panick mood. In the meantime friends were calling to find ot who needed to be contacted. Finally around 10am w reached my cousin. She said the meeting had been cancelled and her and her co-workers were fine. I had another friend simone who worked close by. My mind went immedately to her. Her father was tying to reach hr also. Not until 11pm id we get word that she was ok. She was caught in the dust and was treated at a nearby hospital but was then released. I did lose a friend patrick who worked on the 85th floor. His body was never rcovered. That day I held my three yearold son closer than ever. Life is so precious. We must lear to cherish every moment. Terrorists will never getthe best of us and we will neer let them. I am prod to be an American. God Bless us All.
