Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11, 2001 started out just like any other day. I had been to work that morning and then to class later that afternoon. I had stopped off at my apartment after work to prepare for class. I was in such a rush that I did not have time to turn the television on or talk to anyone. So it was not until I got to school that I overheard my classmates discussing what had happened. I asked one of my classmates what was going on. She said, "Where have you been, Mars?" She said we have been attacked. My class that night was almost cancelled, but we stayed for a while and talked about what was going on. It was really scary for me living in Texas City because there are a lot of power plants located in that area. I also heard that Houston was a possible target. I never really imagined something like that could have hit so close to home and me not even know what was going on. I also feel that the people behind it all are cowards and they should be punished. And I feel so sorry for the families that have lost their loved ones. They will never be forgotten.
