Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11, I was in ESL class. The school principal came on the PA and briefly summarized what had taken place in New York, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania. This was the first year that I had living in the U.S. so this event had a great impact in my life. I felt little insecure and vulnerable as most people most have felt. I was also very angry and scared that any other attacks that may take place. I was confused because then I spoke very scarce English so I didnt realize of how horrific the event was until we were able to turn on the television in our classroom at noon that day. My teacher told us that we could make some calls to our parents to see how they were but that wasnt enough. When I got home I got to see my parents and they were also terrified. We watched the news for hours and hoped for the best. Later that day I thought that this could be the start of another war like the attack on Pearl Harbor. Some of the reactions to the events taken that they lead to unnecessary consequences, but we all hope for the best of the nation.
