Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My story stands to be nowhere as tragic, but one that I'll always remember. I was just waking up to go to work at a restaurant, when my fiance came plundering through the door to turn the television on to CNN. We were shocked to see that the first tower of the WTC had been hit. As soon as we heard of this, my fiance had just remembered that he just dropped his 79 year old grandma that had been visiting for the past week at the airport. We were in a panic, I had to contact work to say that I could not come to work, so that we could go rescue his grandmother stuck at the airport. I the midst of getting ready to head out, our 9-year old cat Calico "Cali" was laying dead right in the path that only a few minutes before I had to dodge because she was walking around in front of me! We then saw that the second tower had been hit on television, and we just stood together in shock as to all that had just happened in the few minutes that he had just walked through the door. We were zombies as to the world coming to an end. We watched towers collapse and were just waiting for this to be the final minutes of the world. We'll never forget the feeling of this day for all those who died in the terrible attacks and for all the USA seeing the reality of the hatred of terrorists. GOD BLESS THE USA AND GOD SPEED TO ALL!!
