Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: September 11, 2001 started out like an ordinary day. However, when I was in my eigth grade American History class, My teacher got a phone call. When he hung up he turned on the TV to MSNBC and we watched as the first tower burned. Soon, the tower fell and the second burning tower was left with smoke billowing out of it. When the second tower came crashing to the ground, it was hard to believe that terrorists had actually taken out the World Trade Center. It was difficult to imagine that where two amazingly high buildings had once stood, all that was left was debris and ash. After the second tower fell, the power went out in my school. We had no idea if there had been a terrorist attack in Florida or not since there wasn't any power. Everybody got really quiet and the teachers made us get under our desks as the school went to Code Red. The power came back after about five minutes or so and we were all relieved that there hadn't been an attack in Florida.
