Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: We had the Tuesday off b/c of our schools president inaugaration. Everyone had the opportunity to attend it but my roomy and I did not feel led to go. Instead, we slept in. Planning to sleep the day away, we were awakened by a phone call from my roomy's mother. Her mother told her that America was being bombed, so she turned on the TV. i was not very happy with the TV being on b/c i was trying to sleep. Pluss it was turned to the news, which is not what you want to hear while sleeping. when she told me what was happening i did not believe it at first. This was not something that was supposed to happen in real life but only in movies. I believe that it was around 11:00 when we were awakened by terrible news. At first it was just wierd but then it became scary. We became fearfull for our lives and more importantly i began to ponder on my life. What was my purpose, what have I done to benefit the kingdom of God, who was I living for, how much my family means to me and so on. I began to cry. A part of me was afraid that i may never see my family again (they are in San Antonio) and the larger part was afraid of not hearing God say, "Well done, thou good and faithfull servent." Her mom told us to go get gas, so we did. The rest of the day just involved my crying and wondering and calling of family. Another thing that really upset me was that my boyfriend is a marine and he was out at the field when it happened so i could not talk to him. I was scared for his life and i wanted him to tell me what was going to happen but i could not. That was my life on 9-11.
