I was on one of the planes that was in the air when the 9-11-01 occured. I was leaving my sisters home in seattle with my other sister who is under treatment for cancer, we were the last plane to come back after being in the air for 45 mins we turned around and went back to seattle,wshington. the airport was like a ghost town we were told to get our luggage and get a taxi and get out of the airport. We took at shuttle bus to the closest motel and then called my other sister to come and get us, we we stranded for wks not knowing when we could come back to our husbands and familys. Due to the airlines not knowing whenwe could get a flight back my sister and I rented a car and drove back to indiana, I live in Ohio. I thank god for watching over me and my sister that we are lucky to be alive and back to our familys. I am very sorry for all the tragedys and this has been a hard day for me. I thank god everday for my safety and return.
