Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I am a journalist in upstate New York. On Sept. 11, 2001, I was taking time off with my infant daughter and watched in horror what was unfolding on TV. As a journalist, all I wanted to do was report on the story. As a new mother, all I wanted to do was hold my daughter tight. I was never so torn. My mother came to watch my daughter and I went to work, putting together a print version of what was occurring. I was given the task to put together the photo page, and I looked at hundreds of photos from that day -- many that never could or should be printed. Many of those photos are still burned in my memory. I was always satisfied with my decision to not put those horrible images in print. I did the best I could to respectfully report on what was occurring. We knew that many people from our area travel to and work in NYC on a daily basis, my brother-in-law being one of them. There were those from our area who were lost. Thankfully, my brother-in-law was not one of them. He did, however, as part of his job, had to work at Ground Zero. This tragedy has definitely touched everyone's life. We did find out later that Flight 11 that hit the WTC flew directly over us when it turned toward NYC.
