Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was a normal day as any other day for me but today I decided to come in early becasue we were going to be busy at Dun & Bradstreet. I logged into the cue and noticed the phones were just lighting up with customers. I figured I could make some money early before everyone else got in and be ahead of the game. One call came in from brooklyn and originally being from New York, I love talking with customers from there. We were going over the basics and all of a sudden my customer started cussing as he saw and I heard the sound of destruction. I asked what was going on and he had said a plane had just crashed into the World Trade Center. I am thinking it was a small prop plane but with the Sound of all the cussing from his office, I knew it was much bigger. At that time the phone went dead and all those calls to our office had completely stopped. The only voices I heard were from co-workers coming into work letting others know what they heard on the radio up here. When management came, they told us that we had offices on the 11th floor and that put a concern to me as well. I started calling my friends up there but everything was busy and I couldnt get through. We ended up closing our call center down and going home. I didnt sleep that week, watching every show with new information on this. And yes, tears were shed because thats where I'm from.
