Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was just getting up and getting ready for work. I am a fourth grade school teacher. It was eerie that day when I got to the school.The classroom TVs were tuned in to the Sacramento news before school,during breaks,lunch and after school. The children were extremely affected by what they had watched that morning on TV before school. We did the flag salute as usual but with more meaning and more expression that day. Questions seemed to fly all day long from the students, Why did they do this? Who did this? Will they come here and do something to us? We all tried to reasure the children but at the same time were asking many of the same questions. I don,t believe I have ever felt so shaken by a national event, except for the assassination of President Kennedy when I was in fourth grade myself. My teacher cried that day. I was afraid then, just as my students were on September 11,2001. I pray for the families, the heroes, and for America.
