Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was a beautiful fall morning, not a clould in the sky. I decided to leave my home early inorder to enjoy my ride to work, execept, there were accidents EVERYWHERE. even the traffics reports couldnt understand why. I had the radio on 104.3 when Bob Buckman reported that "there seems to be a fire or something at the twin towers," it was 8:47 am."If anyone is near a Tv" he continued,you might want to put it on". He then put on a Pink Floyd song, but i turned the radio of, because I was so aggravated by the traffic. when I arrrived, FINNALY, after an hour and a half, usually, a 35min drive, I decided to work only a half day. the 2nd plane hadnt hit yet, and i called my mother and told her to turn on the TV, that a plane had hit the world trade center. then i heard her screaming, "OH MY GOD!!", she saw the 2nd pane hit" i told her i would be home as soon as possible, it was obviously not an sccident. when the pentagon was hit, my builing in a county builing we were all evacuated. it was the most horrible day that i ever want to know. the images are forever in my head. I live in Tarrytown, and we were able to see the smoke from the hudon river banks, down the hill from my house, the view provided the entire skyline. many people had gathered there with radios we had witnessed the buildings collapeing on TV and turned it off. it was horrible. the view of the smoke was white, then black, then gray... eeryone was in shock and afraid. we contacted the red cross to see how we could help and donated 6 gallons of water and other food items immediatly.
