I work as a para-professional in a school district in my hometown. I distinctly remember that we were entering the computer lab with some kindergarten children when I first heard what happened. It was very hard to go about my job that day because I wanted to watch the television all day. But my co-workers and all the teachers rallied together and kept our grief and fear to ourselves so the children would enjoy a normal day at school. It is certainly a day that I will never forget.
