I was on maternity leave after just having my 3rd child,a little over a month before Sept.11.As I sat folding her baby clothes I cried as I watched her sleeping peacefully,scared about what would happen to our world next,and about the many children who no longer had parents to watch them as they lie sleeping.Every time a plane flew over my house I shuttered thinking could this be the next thing???I called my husband at work,I remember screaming the details to him on his cell phone,he said,in a quivering voice"I know,we have been hearing all the details here at work"I cried to him,"please come home"I never really appreciated those words as much as I did that day....I was so lucky that I was able to say that to him.Now,a year later,my baby is now one,I look at her and think of how lucky I am to have her and my whole family because there are so many people who are no longer able to hold their loved ones,our hero's of 9/11
