I came out of my bedroom and when I went to the kitchen my brother reported that the Twin Towers had been hit by a plane. I looked at him with that "yea, right" look and then turned to the tv where they were replaying the actual event. I had to sit down. We kept tabs on the events all day long. My niece kept trying to get word to her husband who is in the Marine Corps. He had been in the field with manuevers and all they told them was that the US had been hit. For the next week we didn't know when or if he was going overseas. He got back this last June.
