Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: There I was in bed, when a friend called to tell me to put the television on. My friend was crying and I couldn't believe my eyes upon putting the News on. Being a Native New Yorker and also a Military Spouse I was both horrified for those in my hometown and for my family wondering how this would affect my husband. I will forever have the images in my mind and the pain in my heart but am proud of how our nation had handled matters and even more proud to say that my husband served on Homeland Security at The Pentagon. He was called to duty and responded immediately with so many other without giving it a second thought. I just want to express my profound "THANKS" to all those who wear the Uniform of the United States Army and also want to say that although I was not home in New York, this New Yorker's Heart was there every minute of everyday.
