Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I am a Dental Professional. I was to go into work late, about 9:45 est., September 11, 2001. I always watch the today show. When I got out of my shower, the tv screen showed a building on fire. I then listened to Katie Couric report on a fire at the World Trade Center. Then, nobody was really sure what was going on. They were talking to a reporter on the ground who said she was sure a jet had flown into the building. Just as she said that, Matt Lauer was saying "another plane just crashed into the other tower" I actually witnessed the 2nd plane crashing into the tower. I couldn't believe what I was watching. I thought it was some sort of horrible accident until that 2nd plane hit. Everyone knew then, we were dealing with something so evil, it was not of this world. How can human beings do this unspeakable thing to other human beings? I have a 9 year old daughter, she had many sleepless nights, and questions about how someone could be so evil. These were hard questions, for parents to answer. We got her through it, she made American Flags, she made cards for family, she knows that "good" far outweighs "evil". We love this country now more than we ever have. We value life here, we will always value life. We live in the greatest country on the face of the earth. That is the message I teach her daily.
