Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: We had library class and someone came to me and said that a plane had hit the first tower. The first thing I thought was that it must have been a accident. A few minutes later, maybe more, as we were teaching... They came in and said another plane had hit tower two. At that time we could not let the students know what was going on but we as adults wre dying to know. So I went to the curricullium office to watch TV. And it was so sur-real!! I saw people jumping out of the buildings and could not grasp that! To this day that sticks in my mind! I went back to the library and called my husband at work. Got his salesman (Matt) and said get on the TV or radio, we are being attacked. He was so surprised.. I think he must have thought I was nuts. By the time I got off the phone another person came into the library and said the Pentagon had been hit and there was another plane missing.( That ended up being the plane that crashed in Penn.) At that time I started feeling WHAT'S NEXT?? School went to lock down,people were calling loved ones that were supposed to be in New York that day. Classes stopped, and even worse as the buildings crumbled,I thought, God Help Us.. We all continued to watch the horror on TV as the people fled amoung the smoke. ( I swear I said out loud at that time that it seemed to be a Hollywood movie.) Sorry If I have rattled on but that was and (hopefully) the most horrific thing I EVER have seen. GOD BLESS THE USA.
